100 Years of Tradition in Dundas!

It’s a rare treat to visit a market that first opened in 1915! This 3rd gen Picone family shop at 34 King St W is the address of Joseph Picone’s original shop. Today, Picone Fine Food is a modern market that also features an expresso bar, hot lunch takeout, catering and an impressive bakery!

Joseph Picone, Sr immigrated to Canada from Sicily. You’ll enjoy the Italian influence in some Picone specialties. Picone offers tiramisu, cannoli, pizza, lasagna, pastas, 5 amazing house sauces, chicken cacciatore and parmigiana, and ricotta & spinach manicotti, to name a few!

Inspiring you to Cook!

Picone specializes in locally sourced and the freshest organic produce. Baskets of apples inspire pie baking!  You’ll find unique spices and hard to find ingredients to make meals special. Picone makes in-house products like lemon curd to add interest to a dish!

The cheese selection and infused oils are inspiring! The supply of local garlic from Hamilton Farms is going fast. Stocking up soon is a smart move!
