A Visit to Fieldcote Museum is a Special Treat!
You can find the Fieldcote Memorial Park and Museum in Ancaster just off Wilson St at 64 Sulphur Springs Rd. The museum is open year round on Tuesday- Saturday afternoons from 1-5pm. The lovely gardens are always open to visit, and special events and classes are also scheduled other days.
Community Events, Classes and Exhibits
Fieldcote Museum hosts free summer music concerts on Sunday evenings at 7pm. The popular family friendly series features local musicians. Outdoor movies, such as “Beauty and the Beast”, are presented through the summer. Art classes, including watercolour painting, are a Fieldcote tradition.
Museum exhibits are curated to celebrate local culture and history. The 2017 exhibit titled “The Ark” beautifully traces 150 years of life in Ancaster. Additional exhibits celebrate the history of theatre in Ancaster.
Spending time in the Fieldcote Park gardens is inspiring, being surrounded by the artistic plantings and natural beauty.
