Hamilton’s “Go To” Spot!
Merit Brewing’s grand opening in May immediately drew the curious “out and about” crowd to check out the beautiful, renovated space with an industrial vibe. Once at Merit, fans keep coming back for their favorite brew, awesome food and the friendly atmosphere.
You may be surprised by the “no chairs” setting, but will quickly come to appreciate the benefits of communal tables and benches where you can meet and have fascinating conversations with new friends while drinking your favorite brew!
Once in the Taproom you can look into the brewery, opening up the whole Merit Brewing experience.
Why the Lightbulb?
It’s a perfect symbol to celebrate innovation, according to owner/partner, Tej Jordan Sandhu. Hamilton is experiencing a time of renewal and creative innovation today! The lightbulb reference is about today, as well as, an historic moment in Hamilton history. In 1898 Hamilton was the first city in Canada to be connected to the new AC hydro-electric power grid, earning the name “The Electric City” as a symbol of innovation. In Hamilton today innovators have seen “the light” and are hard at work re-inventing Hamilton for the future. Lightbulb positivity makes us smile!
