2017 Hamilton Fashion Week!
It’s here! October 21-22, 2017! HFW is a full weekend of inspiring runway shows! Event organizers, amazing designers, and all participants have been busy, getting ready for this weekend since the popular 2016 Hamilton Fashion Week.
Successful HFW casting calls for models drew so many talented entries! HFW scouts traveled throughout Ontario looking for great designs! Photoshoots at Digital Canaries were fun and inspiring! Preparing for Hamilton Fashion Week takes many hours of behind the scenes team organizing, presentation planning, show programming and rehearsals.
HFW Saturday Events!
Saturday afternoon kicks off with the Fashion Matinee! It starts with the 2pm “Appy” hour appetizers and beverages, plus racks of amazing designer fashions to browse and buy.
The runway show at 3pm features curated designs, expert commentary and analysis, DJ and live entertainment. You’ll see designs by Tasha Apparel, Pop Sauvage, Nygard, Maricar Studios and Design by Meike
On Saturday evening at 7pm, the Fashion Gala features a social Appy Hour, followed by the 8pm curated runway show. You’ll see designs by Zander, True Hamilton, and Strauss Men’s Wear, with expert commentary and analysis. DJ and live entertainment is included in the Gala!
Sunday HFW Events!
Sunday Brunch begins at 2pm with Appy hour social and racks of designer fashion browsing. At 3 pm the finale runway show features designs by QD Collections, Thrifty Designer, Phresh Empire, Luxury Furs and Engaged Fashions! Expert commentary is included with DJ music and live entertainment
At 5pm the Fashion Soiree finale party celebrates Hamilton fashion and everyone who participated in Hamilton Fashion Week this year!
What to Know
You can purchase tickets for individual events at $20 per ticket, or a weekend pass to all events for $40 at the HFW website.
The venue for all events is The Digital Canaries studios at 520 Burlington St E. downtown Hamilton.
This is the 4th year for Hamilton Fashion Week and it’s growing! Supporters are working for Hamilton to be a center for fashion design in Ontario!
