After 3 years working at home in their one car garage workshop, Rich and Andrea decided it was time to take the next step. In March 2017 they moved into their studio/workshop in the Cotton Factory in Hamilton. Rustic Designs has become very busy as Hamiltonians and beyond learn about and love their beautiful work!
Rich Brackett designs and builds unique, practical pieces which showcase the natural beauty of wood. Andrea provides invaluable assistance in the shop as well as taking the lead for marketing the business! Son Griffin has officially joined the family business in the shop this October!
Custom Orders Welcome!
Local people, organizations and businesses love the custom Rustic Designs work! McMaster University ordered a unique chalkboard framed in barnboard, and a barbeam bench! Hamilton eateries love the beautiful, oversized live edge charcuterie boards! Radius has ordered the longest charcuterie board yet! Rustic Designs created a 30 foot bar for the TiCats!
Individuals are ordering custom tables, choosing their favorite woods, style and table leg design! Rich collaborates with a metal fabricating colleague when a customer prefers metal table legs with a hardwood top.
