Art on Ottawa St N!
Next time you’re on Ottawa Street, come right into this welcoming gallery! You’ll be inspired by the changing exhibits of contemporary work by local and national artists, as well as, classic historical pieces. Earls is celebrating their 8th year on Ottawa St this September, moving here in 2009.
What’s Inside?
Earls Court Gallery has a current exhibit called “In Between Land” by Lori Mirabelli and Victoria Pearce, featuring artistic tributes to iconic Hamilton waterfalls.
Earls hosts frequent “opening receptions” to present new exhibits. On October 5th, from 7pm-9pm, everyone is invited to the exhibit reception titled “I frequently go there…” with Laura Culic and Clarence Porter. On November 16th, from 7pm-9pm, Earls hosts the opening reception for a McMaster University student show titled ART 3D03 which promises to be very interesting!
In addition to the beautiful Gallery, Earls Court offers services. You can bring your artwork to Earls for appraisal, restoration, custom framing, or even consignment. Customers appreciate their expert advice in selecting exactly the right mats and frames for each individual piece of art.
For several years Earls has teamed up with Centre3 on James Street N to hold a popular event called an “Art Lottery”. The Lottery in 2016 featured $100 per ticket, 100 pieces of art, and 100 tickets sold! Look for the announcement for next one on Earls Facebook page.
