People living and working downtown are energized about the ongoing progress happening in the city centre. The downtown core is an officially designated City of Hamilton “Business Improvement Area”. Downtown business owners joined together forming a non profit organization with more than 600 members committed to promoting and preserving the area and advocacy for member businesses.
