Hamilton Fresh and Local – Farmers Markets

in Food & Drink

We Support our Local Farmers!

Hamilton celebrates local farmers with weekly community farmers markets and a year round market downtown. Hamilton chefs source local food for their farm-fresh to table menu. Talking with the people who grow our food at the farmers market is a wonderful conversation with neighbors!

Open All Year

Downtown Hamilton Farmers Market

The downtown Hamilton Farmers Market first began in 1837!  Today’s customers shop the beautiful indoor year round market at 35 York Blvd.  It’s open 4 days a week, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Shoppers buy fresh produce, cheese, bakery treats, prepared foods, fish, meat, eggs, and wine. You’ll find both year round stalls and daily market carts.   Special events add to the fun, such as yoga, exercise groups, week-long nosh demos and classes, and baby goats to pet. hamiltonfarmersmarket.ca
