Heads up for procrastinators, don’t wait! Last year Merry Farms sold out by December 12th! If you’re cutting your own tree the weekend entrance fee is waived. Otherwise it is $5/person on weekends.
You’ll find Balsam and Fraser Firs ranging in size from 6′ to as big as 15′. Merry sells a tree stand they call the “Marriage Saver” which makes it easy to install and water your tree. You can bring your own handsaw (no chain saws) or borrow one.
When you bring your perfect tree back to the shop, Merry will put it on the “shaker” to get rid of any critters. The tree baler wraps your tree in twine for the trip home. Make sure you ask them to cut the bottom and drill a hole for the tree stand.
Merry Farm Attractions!
Merry is a beautiful, welcoming farm on 176 acres of rolling hills! Merry has a Christmas shop with decorations for home and tree! Start an annual tradition with a new yearly ornament!
Outside you’ll find a bonfire and hot chocolate to keep you warm, and a food truck if you worked up an appetite!
There are activities like gingerbread cookie decorating, pedal karts, tetherball, pumpkin bowling, slides and a hay bale climbing mountain. A wagon ride takes you around the farm with stops for trees and people.
Merry Farm has animals. The enormous Clydesdales are impressive and the goats like to climb and slide. Both kids and adults enjoy seeing farm equipment up close!
